Rocky Acres Evening Star

April 9th,2008 black roan pinto filly

Star is our roan filly. She has a light blue eye and a dark blue one. She has a nice clean head on her and good conformation. She has a straight bite, and nice movement. She is easy to catch in the pasture and is no problem to lead. She stands well during clipping, bathing and feet. She is a very friendly little filly that is quiet enough, many people can handle without problems. Will be a good color producer and is a small mare. August 25th she measured 29 inches tall.

Thunder is our small yearling stud. He has a very quiet disposition that makes him easy to work with by all ages. He is easy to catch in the field and leads well. He stands quietly and is quiet when handling his feet. He has two very blue eyes has a unique color. He is very compact, small and has very nice, fluid movement. If breeding for size, he would produce very small correct foals. August 25th he measured 27 inches tall. Will continue to work with him on new stuff this summer. Will be bathing and clipping too. Pictures of him clipped up will be coming shortly.
