Rocky Acres Miniature Horses

 Proud breeders of Polled Hereford cattle for over 25 years with a registered bull. We handle only a handful of cattle but the quality is outstanding. Supporting Alberta 4-H and Carrot Creek Multi Club for 3 years with many more years to come. This barn has been standing for over 100 years and has been apart of the Lytle family for over 70 years and is still in operation.

 Bulls

Every bull we have are handpicked for their easy temperment, comformation and color. Every bull has produced a 50/50 bull/heifer ratio for us. Every calf produced is quiet and easy to handle. This year we have a yearling bull and are looking forward to what he produces in March and April. (papers pending)

 Cows

Every Cow on our property has an even temperment and is easy to handle. Produce small calves with a quiet disposition and traditional hereford markings. Our cows have registered bulls on their pedigree and are purebred but not papered.

 4-H

  Polled hereford cattle are great for 4-h projects as their quiet temperment make them easy to work with and their generally small frame makes them safe for young members. They may have a small frame but they put on the weight really well with good marbling and lean beef. The combination of bright white and rich red make them pop in the showring.
